Geogrids
Geogrids provide ground reinforcement, preventing soils from pulling apart under tension by allowing the force to be transferred to a larger area. They are ideally suited for use on haul roads, permanent roads, piling platforms, compounds and much more.
Geogrids prove their value as a cost-effective, durable, and easy-to-install method of reinforcement in groundworks. They allow force to be distributed over a larger area, reducing settlement and movement. They can reduce the thickness of haul roads and piling platforms, resulting in cost and time savings while supporting and protecting the local environment.
INCLUDED IN THE RANGE
At Civils & Lintels we work with Geoworks and other UK based manufacturers to supply a wide range of Geogrids.
Our range of Geogrids include E Grid Biaxial, SX Composite and SX Grid as well as Ecoblock 39, 45, 70 and heavy ranges.
Geoworks E’Grid
EGRID is a premium range of biaxial geogrids, offering a 100 year design life. Available in a wide choice of roll sizes, including large aperture variants, E’GRID uses a proven square shape which has been installed in real world applications for over 40 years. Proven through independent, peer reviewed testing, unlike its alternatives, E’GRID gives specifiers and contractors confidence in a long-lasting solution that’s quick and simple to install while providing significant cost and CO2e savings.
Geoworks SX Grid
SX Grid is a biaxial geogrid with a 50-year design life that provides a cost-effective solution to solve pavement problems by providing omni-axial reinforcement to granular sub-bases, capping layers and railway ballasts in areas of weak or variable soils.
Geoworks SX Composite 3030
Achieve time savings when acquiring materials and overall quicker installations, thanks to SX Composite, an all-in-one solution that performs as both a biaxial geogrid and a geotextile. SX Composite consists of nonwoven geotextile thermally bonded to our popular SX range of geogrid. Available in 5.2m wide rolls as standard, it enables significant installation efficiencies to be achieved while reducing risks of failure.
